The design of Shinobu sword is inspired by Shinobu Kocho from demon slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba), and we have processed high-quality materials through an intricate process to recreate various details of Shinobu Kocho’s sword from the anime 1:1.

Shinobu Kocho is gentle and friendly on the outside, very elegant in speech and behaviour, but extremely tough and calm on the inside.

Shinobu Kochou has a distinctive attacking character, which is swift and dexterous, with more emphasis on precision and speed. However, due to her lack of strength, she is unable to cut off the head of a ghost directly, so she poisons the ghost to death by coating the sword with a toxin extracted from a plant.

Shinobu Sword: Overall Design

Handle

The black high-strength braided cord wrapped around the handle fits snugly around the wrist and ensures a comfortable grip.

Blade

The blade is smooth and sharp, with a slightly upward curved tip, which is in keeping with Shinobu Kocho‘s unique swordsmanship and unrivalled dexterity. While the blade may not appear to have any power, the true lethality of the blade comes from the venom contained within.

Guard (Tsuba)

The orange hand guard in the shape of a butterfly petal is inspired by the ‘butterfly’ imagery in the Shinobu Kocho‘s name. The green leaves suggest a highly poisonous plant.

Sheath (Scabbard)

The Shinobu Sword’s sheath has a white colour scheme with orange as the main colour, and a butterfly-like golden pattern set into the pure white sheath, exuding a lightness and purity of beauty, as well as symbolising her lightning-fast sword skills.
